Dr. Jeff Zweerink

Astrophysicist Jeff Zweerink is a senior research scholar at Reasons to Believe, an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and the Christian faith. He earned a PhD in astrophysics with a focus on gamma rays from Iowa State University. Jeff was involved in research projects such as STACEE and VERITAS and is a coauthor on more than 30 academic papers. He is also the author of Escaping the Beginning?, Is There Life Out There?, and Who’s Afraid of the Multiverse? Today, Jeff writes and speaks on the compatibility of science and the Christian faith, and works on GAPS (a balloon experiment seeking to detect dark matter).
